The Ariens weight kit attaches to the top of the 2-stage snow blower housing and keeps the snow blower firmly planted to the ground. This prevents the snow blower from riding up as you are clearing snow. It equalizes weight distribution holding the machine closer to the surface to be cleared. Does not fit Ariens models with 20 in. wide intake housing.
