STIHL Rapid Hexa saw chain features a brand new high performance full-chisel cutter design that cuts up to 10 percent faster, stays sharper for longer, and is easier and faster to sharpen with a hand file when compared to STIHL Rapid Super (RS) saw chain. This saw chain features an exclusive, patented, STIHL cutter design. This saw chain requires a 6-sided, hexagon-shaped Hexa file or Hexa-shaped grinding wheel for the STIHL USG. Designed specifically to maintain the high-performance Hexa cutter shape. There are two tie straps between every two cutting teeth, allowing for better chip discharge and higher chain speed. Product has increased risk of kickback injury and is for use only by persons with extraordinary cutting needs and experience and specialized training for dealing with kickback.
